Covid-19 Takes the Life Out of Business
A business can be defined as person’s regular occupation, profession, or trade
But what that definition doesn’t involve is the blood, sweat and tears you paid
That when you have a business it can go swimmingly or south
That when you have a business your soul is now bound
Bound to a reality you have weaved
To see an outstanding business you have achieved
But it’s unfortunate that we cannot foresee, the future
A future where your business was thrown into a slump
When you thought it was just a speed bump
Who knew it would be because of a virus
The thing you hear is afraid of Bush tea, the thing you can’t even really see
How can you fight that kind of enemy
The enemy that comes out of no where to make your customers sick
Customers who you now figured how they tick
But that new discovery doesn’t stop the clock
The clock that counts down the minutes until your business will be stopped
Stopped because you care about those same customers and that’s why you had to close your doors
Because Corona decided it wanted more
No it wasn’t enough for it to take people’s health
No it wanted to take their livelihood as well
When you have to watch your new reality turn back into a dream
Without even knowing what it means
Without really knowing what is the Covid-19
The fiend that made you make a hard decision
Between living your dream or living period
Between supporting your family and protecting it
How could something so unknown become so rabid
As it rapidly brought down businesses one by one
Deciding to spare none
Not even those who worked from the ground up
No Covid-19 doesn’t think that’s enough, for it to stop its takeover
It gave the whole world a make over
Into a place where you watch your life work deteriorate
And going outside is now a sight unseen
Why did the world have to contract Covid-19
