SEA Result Tips for Parents

Rate this post

SEA Results are dropping tomorrow morning in Trinidad and Tobago. I wish I could say we are all fine and there is no anxiety here! Basically most of Trinidad and Tobago are holding their breath since they know someone who is awaiting results. Our friends at JOSAL Consulting released these tips for parents on the day of results and they said spread it far and wide.

DISAPPOINTED?
Show love and affection for their effort; remind them life success does NOT depend on SEA, love them unconditionally. Don’t let them wallow in sorrow for themselves.

DON’T DO THIS
Don’t brush off disappointment lightly, overcompensate with gifts, bad talk others who did well, or frame your child as a victim.

IF THEY DID WELL
Celebrate their effort more so than the result, remind them to check up on friends who didn’t do so well and to give thanks always.

ABOVE ALL ELSE
SEA is just one step on a long journey filled with challenges. Life success happens in the long term not at age 11+.

The family here at My Trini Chile have one tip we would like to add
HUGS and KISSES for all.

Sharing is caring!
