SEA Assessment Framework 2019-2023
The Ministry of Education of Trinidad and Tobago has submitted the guidelines for SEA the period 2019-2023.
The Secondary Entrance Assessment 2019 -2023 framework is intended for use by all stakeholders with candidates who are expected to sit the assessment for the period 2019 – 2023. It is based on the English Language Arts and Mathematics Curriculum Guides 2013. This document clearly identifies the:
· purpose of the SEA
· subjects to be tested
· duration of the different papers
· objectives that are related to each subject
· thinking processes that underlie each objective
· distribution of marks by test items

WHAT WILL BE THE MOST IMPORTANT SUBJICT MATHS ELA AND SPELLING
Each area has a different weighting Math is 50% ELA is 30% Creative writing is 20%. Spelling is not weighted separately it would be part of ELA and creative writing.
