Educational Alternatives to Sixth Form – Trinidad and Tobago

3.7/5 - (3 votes)

Results are in for CSEC! What do we do next? There are now many educational alternatives to Sixth Form in Trinidad and Tobago. When I was younger there were very few choices but now there are many paths to a degree once you get 5 CSEC passes which are defined as a I, II or III including Mathematics and English A. What is also exciting is that sixth form is a two year programme but the options listed below are usually one year to complete or go straight into a degree programme. These options are for Trinidad and Tobago Educational institutions. You can also pursue international options, working or trade school but we have not covered those in this article.

Please note we are not affiliated to these institutions and the requirements and degree options can change at any time. The purpose of this article is to highlight the different options and avenues available. Please contact the schools directly for further information.

Very useful article. Thank you! Suggesting to consider including United World College as another alternative. Applications usually submitted during first term of 5th Form. More information here http://uwctt.org/.
