Queens Park Savannah – This Sunday 19 Nov 2017 is for Kids!

You can just spend ALL DAY Sunday at the Queen’s Park Savannah with your children!!  There are three special events taking place at the Savannah this Sunday (19 Nov 2017).  I know end of term tests are coming up and we are supposed to be studying but I say ditch the books this Sunday and head to the Queen’s Park Savannah!!!

 

In the Morning

Arrive Alive is hosting the UN World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims- 2017.  Take your bikes and take a ride with others to remember the occasion. They are meeting at Queens Royal College at 8:00 am!

In the Afternoon

The Santa Claus Parade 2017!!!  The name says it all. The event starts at 1:00 pm and it looks like endless fun for the kids! Make A Wish Foundation hosts this fun event which starts at 1:00 opposite NAPA.  You can walk in the parade free of charge but you can also pay $50 for refreshments and a good cause!!!

 

In the Evening

Family Night Under the Lights is being launched this Sunday evening starting at 6:00 pm at the Royal Botanic Gardens.  I believe this is the third year and it is a wonderful picnic opportunity.  It is a free event with entertainment for the whole family!
